WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are looking for fiction and non-fiction of the highest quality. We are keen to receive literary and commercial fiction. We are also looking for non-fiction, particularly creative non-fiction, travel writing, memoir and nature writing. We do not represent plays, screenwriting, children’s books or YA.
SUBMITTING YOUR WORK:
To submit your work, please e-mail email@example.com following these guidelines:
1. Please include the title of your work in the subject line of the email.
2. Please send your work in a Word document, and ensure your contact details and word count are clearly visible on the title page.
- For fiction, please include a covering letter telling us a little about yourself, a synopsis in a separate Word document and the first three chapters of the book.
- For non-fiction, please include a covering letter with some information about yourself and the background to the book, a one-page summary of the project, a table of contents (or chapter outline) and two or three sample chapters.
We will endeavour to get back to you within six weeks of receiving your work. Please note that due to the number of requests we receive, we are unable to provide feedback on unsuccessful submissions.
Submissions are open year-round, except for the month of August. Any submissions received in August will not be read until September.
For authors from Norfolk and Suffolk, we will running the New Anglia Manuscript Prize again this year. Prize submissions will open on 1st October 2022 so you may wish to wait until that time to submit your manuscript. Further details will be posted on the New Anglia Manuscript Prize page of the website shortly.
